Supporting Ukrainian Medics: Medical Aid for Ukraine

In January 2024, United With Ukraine delivered a total of $5,425.29 worth of medical aid to Ukrainian medics and hospitals. 

We delivered $4,528.17 worth of essential medications and medical supplies, including crucial solutions for treating acute pain, anxiety, and nerve/muscular pain, to the combat medics of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade. They included:

We dedicated an additional $897.12 for the purchase of medical furniture and devices for the medical center (infirmary) of the 118th Mechanized Brigade. Namely, we delivered: 

  • 2 glass display cabinets for medications - $400.32. 
  • 1 dry-heat oven for sterilization of instruments - $403.66.
  • 1 dentist chair - $93.14.

Right now, your contributions are saving lives and aiding in the recovery of the wounded in Ukraine, addressing critical shortages of medications and medical supplies during wartime.

The gratitude from Ukrainian medics and defenders for the aid we delivered has been overwhelming, with many heartfelt thanks received by our volunteers in person. Notably, the medics of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade have expressed their appreciation in the written letters of gratitude for our donors:

Akvelon Ukraine Social Initiative

In January 2024, our sister organization, Akvelon Ukraine Social Initiative, demonstrated its unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine by dedicating $6.546.17 to deliver battlefield effectiveness and tactical equipment, a night vision monocular, and 3 arterial tourniquets. This aid is currently put to use by the air defense defending the Ochakov direction, the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade defending the Avdiivka direction, the 108th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion, and the National Guard of Ukraine. 

Akvelon Ukraine Social Initiative has made substantial contributions to bolster the effectiveness of Ukrainian defense, ensuring the safety and well-being of Ukrainian heroes. Their aid includes:

  • 8 steel wire nets protecting from FPV drones - $169.42. 
  • 1 night vision monocular GSCI PVS-14 NW1 - $3,942.43.
  • 3 arterial tourniquets - $242.94.
  • Spare parts for repair of 2 evacuation vehicles worth $1,299.97 total.
  • 4 pickup tyres - $891.41.
