Supporting Ukrainian Medics: Medical Aid for Ukraine

As winter approaches, Ukrainian medics are confronted with the challenge of treating patients not only for wounds caused by shelling but also for seasonal illnesses like the flu and cold.

Our October 2023 report showcases the profound impact every cent of your donation makes. United With Ukraine's approach involves procuring medicines and pharmaceuticals locally in Ukraine. This strategy significantly reduces costs compared to sourcing these items from the US or other countries, ensuring that your contributions go a long way.

Most of the essential medications we delivered in October cost less than $5 per unit, yet they play a pivotal role in supporting the people on the ground in Ukraine. Your every donation matters tremendously to them.

At this very moment, your contributions are empowering Ukrainian medics to:

  • Prevent the spread of flu, cold, and other respiratory diseases among Ukrainian defenders.
  • Provide essential treatment for injuries and wounds.
  • Save more lives.

The medics of the 187th Territorial Defense Battalion, within the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade, have extended their heartfelt gratitude for the medical supplies provided by United With Ukraine through Akvelon Ukraine Social Initiative. Their letter expresses thanks for these critical medical supplies, which will play a pivotal role in saving the lives and health of numerous defenders. They also convey their heartfelt wishes for our unwavering resolve and resilience in the Fight for Freedom and Independence of Ukraine.
